Rating: 80% (B-) Worth It

Some series are difficult to judge due to the overall complexities of their narrative. At times, the progression of the plot can seem dull and vastly uninteresting, but in the end the build up and patience proves worth it. Season 2 of the #Netflix original series #TheOA falls within this category, due to the lethargic progression of its narrative. Season 1 showed a bit of consistency, which made it easy to follow and fully understand. Season 2, however, takes one back and forth between different dimensions, which makes it somewhat difficult to comprehend elements of the plot as they present themselves. The acting is the saving grace of this series, due to the ability of each performance to carry even the slowest moments of plot. In short, patience is key when it comes to a sci-fi series such as this. The narrative may prove boring and dull within certain moments, but the ending will fully showcase why the nature of the progression was so vitally important.
