Rating: 92% (A-) Must See

Certain shows garner the label of being outstanding, due to the psychological journey that the narrative takes the audience through. At times, one reaches the end of such a narrative and still fails to truly understand decisions that were made, which exemplifies the overall mystery etched within the fabric of our lives. The new Swedish #Netflix original series #Quicksand takes one through the turmoil rooted within relationships and commitment. What draws us and attracts us to another person? These are questions that muddle the mind, but yet are reasons why one stays even when things are not what they appear to be. This series showcases the dangers in always being there because at times people never can be what they present themselves to be. Patterns never change and behaviors seldom alter. They just shift into something more, which in effect becomes overbearing. The emotion and acting within this narrative was real and felt true in every sense of the word. In short, the decisions one makes in life has long lasting effects, especially those revolved around whom one allows to enter their life. The psychological and emotional nature of that is tested within this series, which truly makes it a definite must see.
