Review: 90% (A-) Must See
What does it profit a man to gain the world, only to lose his soul?" The new limited #Netflix series entitled #BlackEarthRising does an exceptional job painting a picture of the pain and treachery that was rooted behind and around the Rwandan genocide. A narrative, implanted with mystery and truth, forces the audience to step into multiple perspectives, in order to truly see the power behind justice and identity. Phenomenal acting and powerfully emotional scenes lend itself in propelling #BlackEarthRising to a state that should be recognized. Without a doubt, this is surely a show that must be seen, witnessed, and internalized by all.
