The definition of a great show is at times hard to define, but essentially it's one where the depth of each character is very present within a narrative that has meaning, which extends into the everyday world. Season 2 of the #Netflix original series #OnMyBlock fits perfectly into this category, due to the realness that exudes from every interaction and scene. The messages embedded within the narrative are profound and truly speak to the current realities of our world. The acting is exceptional by every member of the cast and the humor is strategically placed within a way that prevents it from dominating the entire scope of the narrative. The series is a perfect balance of critical emotion and lighthearted fun, which audiences are sure to adore and love. In short, this series is hands down a must see, due to the overall relevance of its narrative and the honest portrayal of its characters.
